the engineer
..ehem..probably yesterday was my first day that i feel 'being engineer'. yesterday was 11 p.m when i was in the middle of dark,quite factory. in the middle of big machines and all the giant finished goods. yesterday was a terrible day in my career. very frightening. my GM, my manager, my colleague..all are helping...me..for the first time, i feel i love my job. i mean my company, my colleague & my boss. we struggling, cracked our head, TOGETHER, to solve my stupid mistake. and of course, fiancee is there too, to soothe me :)
what is my BIGGGG problem? last year, i won 1 tender for government project in sri lanka. the project meant for opening ceremony which will be launch by Sri Lanka's president. somehow, the shipment delayed. and my client need the goods urgently otherwise their government will sue them which we also affected. taking the responsibility, we decided to send the goods by air. which the freight cost will be 10 times higher than sea freight which takes longer time. in the midst of mmmmm, the next thing i afraid to hear is, i fired you. somehow, they not. so, after i crack my head how we can complete the project before 1st Feb 2012, finally we did found solution and few choices. the next day, which today, i wrote an email, explained everything and made sincere apologize to them, we finally settle the thing. alhamdulillah.
the moral is, whenever you face big problem which is 'betul2' big problem which cause a million burnt of dollars, or anything considered BIG, do not do not do not give up and stop thinking. think about to resign. think to find new job. NEVER do that. there is a way. there must a way go out. don't trow your tantrum, don't cry, don't don't don't. you just have to step back, calm your self, and start find the root and write down any possible ways regardless any risk you will face. do not constraint your mind.pray to God.plus, having a lil chat with your love ones :)
anything you do, teacher, student, police etc, did your best. did your very best. and every obstacles you face, your self esteem become higher. do not afraid.
